Friendly Bacteria
Bacteria tend to be associated with disease. So who would have thought they could actually be good for you? Our bodies are home to a mix of good and bad bacteria. Under normal or "balanced" conditions, the ratio of good to bad bacteria is usually 85:15. The good-for-us strains of bacteria have been shown to have numerous health benefits.* These "friendly" bacteria are called probiotics, a name that means "for life" in Greek. The majority of these bacteria lives in your colon and play important roles in multiple health supporting functions.

Why SynBio?
Probiotics are generally found in yogurt and cultured foods. However, these food sources contain only a few types of probiotics, a minimal bacteria count, and come in a wet state which kills many of the beneficial cultures before they ever reach their destination. Most probiotics supplements come in tablet form which are limited in type and quantity of probiotics and, if not broken down by your body, have a minimal effect.

In contrast, SynBio combines 10 probiotic cultures with a total bacteria count of 27 billion CFU in SynBio and 42 billion CFU in SynBio-X. And because SynBio and SynBio-X are delivered via dry packed granules, we guarantee potency and superior efficacy.

We've also enhanced both SynBio and SynBio-X with the prebiotic inulin to create a comprehensive two-step probiotic supplement. Unlike probiotics, which are living microorganisms, prebiotics are indigestible carbohydrates which selectively feed good bacteria.

Step 1: Probiotics make your way to your colon and begin establishing themselves.
Step 2: Prebiotics selectively feed the probiotics to enhance their effectiveness in establishing good colon health.*

Experience superior variety and potency with SynBio.
